GETTING STARTED
GAME SETUP

1. INSERT THE CLEAR RAMP TOP INTO THE TWO RAMP SIDES. LINE UP THE HOLES AND INSERT THE FOUR PINS TO SECURE THE RAMP TOP.
2. SLIDE THE FOUR RAMP SIDE SUPPORTS (STORED IN THE SMALL DRAWSTRING BAG) ONTO THE RAMP TOP WITH THE ROUND SIDE FACING UP.
3. INSERT THE TWO FLEXIBLE RING SUPPORTS (STORED INSIDE THE SMALL THREE POINT RING) INTO THE ONE AND TWO POINT RINGS.
4. PLACE THE TARGET RINGS 2 TARGET RING LENGTHS AWAY FROM THE END OF THE RAMP. (4 FEET FROM END OF RAMP TO BACK OF THE TARGET RINGS)

WHEN HANDLING THE CLEAR PLASTIC PARTS TAKE CAUTION NOT TO FOLD THE PARTS AS THIS CAN CAUSE COSMETIC DAMAGE TO THE GAME.
WHEN YOU’RE READY TO PUT THE GAME AWAY, MAKE SURE THAT THE ROLLED UP RAMP TOP IS THE FIRST ITEM TO GO BACK INTO THE BAG.

TIP #1
FIND A FLAT AND LEVEL SURFACE TO SET UP YOUR GAME. THIS WILL MAKE SCORING POINTS EASIER AND MORE CONSISTENT.
TIP #2
WHEN FIRST LEARNING TO PLAY FLYBALL, START WITH THE RINGS ONLY ONE OR TWO FEET FROM THE END OF THE RAMP. MOVE THE RINGS FURTHER AWAY AS YOU GET MORE COMFORTABLE SCORING POINTS.
TIP #3
LOWER THE ANGLE AT WHICH YOU RELEASE THE BALL: YOU CAN ROLL WHILE CROUCHING, FROM FARTHER AWAY, OR EVEN WHILE SITTING OR KNEELING.
TIP #4
FLYBALL PLAYS BEST ON SOFT SURFACES. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ON A HARD SURFACE TRY PUTTING SOMETHING SOFT LIKE A TOWEL OR A YOGA MAT UNDER THE TARGET RINGS TO KEEP THE BALLS FROM BOUNCING.

GAME RULES

1. DECIDE WHICH PLAYER WILL GO FIRST. THAT PLAYER STANDS WITH THEIR FEET BEHIND THE FRONT OF THE RAMP AND ROLLS ALL OF THEIR BALLS TOWARD THE TARGET RINGS. REPEAT FOR EVERY PLAYER.

2. ALL PLAYERS ADD UP THEIR SCORE.

EACH BALL CAN BE WORTH:

  • 0 POINTS: OUTSIDE THE TARGET RINGS
  • 1 POINT: LARGEST RING
  • 2 POINTS: MIDDLE RING
  • 3 POINTS: SMALLEST RING

3. ONLY ONE PLAYER EARNS POINTS EACH ROUND. AFTER ALL PLAYERS ROLL, COMPARE THEIR SCORES. SUBTRACT THE LOWEST SCORE FROM THE HIGHEST SCORE. THE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHEST SCORE IS AWARDED THE DIFFERENCE IN POINTS.

4. REPEAT STEPS 1-3 UNTIL ONE PLAYER REACHES 21 POINTS OR HIGHER. THAT PLAYER WINS THE GAME. (AND BRAGGING RIGHTS FOR LIFE)

 

*THE PLAYER THAT WAS AWARDED POINTS IN THE PREVIOUS ROUND ROLLS FIRST IN THE CURRENT ROUND.
*A BALL CAN BOUNCE, SKIP, OR ROLL IN OR OUT OF THE TARGET RINGS. ALL THAT MATTERS IS WHERE THE BALL IS AT THE END OF THE ROUND.
*THE DINGER: IF A BALL HITS THE FRONT OF THE RAMP AND STOPS WITHOUT CROSSING THE LINE, THAT BALL CAN BE PICKED UP AND RE-ROLLED.
